About Evgeny

 Dr. Evgeny Kataev studied Chemistry at the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and graduated in 2003. During his studies he was a visiting researcher in the group of Prof. Aaron L. Odom► at Michigan State University (MSU). He completed his PhD degree in 2006, a joint program between University of Texas at Austin, and MSU under supervision of Prof. Jonathan L. Sessler► and Yuri A. Ustynyuk. In 2006/2007 he was an INTAS postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Kay Severin► (EPFL, Lausanne). After working as a researcher in 2007/2008 at MSU he joined the group of Prof. Burkhard König► at the University of Regensburg as a Humboldt postdoctoral fellow. In fall 2011 he started as assistant (junior) professor at the Chemnitz University of Technology. From 2017 to 2019 he worked as associate (außerplanmäßiger) professor at TUC. Since April 2020 he is a Heisenberg Fellow at FAU.
